Order Status FAQ

How do I check my Order Status?

To check on an order, click on the My Account icon at the top right of the PartsAmerica.com home page. You will be taken to your account home page and asked to log in. Once you have logged in, click on the My Orders text at the left of the page. Your order history will be displayed. The current status of each order will be displayed. To obtain further detail, click on the order status field of the particular order you are interested in. To obtain further details regarding an order, click on the details field.

What do the different Order Status mean?

Your order may be in the following are states:

  • Open – Payment has not been authorized.
  • Hold – "Ship to" address has not been verified.
  • Authorized – Payment has been authorized and "ship to" address verified but the order has not been prepared for distribution.
  • In-transit – The order has been prepared for distribution but does not have a tracking number assigned.
  • Shipped – Order has been shipped, delivered, or is ready for pick-up and has been assigned a tracking number.
  • Expired – Pick-up order that has passed the customer-designated pick-up date.
  • Cancelled – Order has been cancelled.

How do I track my order?
Identify the order you wish to track and click on the text in the order status column. The complete status detail of your order will be displayed, including the shipper tracking number. To view the shipper’s status of delivery, click on the tracking number. For pickup or home delivery orders, a "pickup status" or "delivery status" link is available instead of the "tracking number" link.

How do I modify an order?
An order may be modified if the status is listed as Open, Hold, or Authorized (not In-transit, Shipped, Expired, or Cancelled). Modifications allowed include removing items from an order or canceling the complete order.

How do I cancel an order?
Identify the order you wish to cancel from "My Orders" and click on the details column. Click on "Cancel Entire Order" button to cancel the order. A confirmation page is displayed and, upon confirmation, the order is cancelled. The order only may be cancelled if order status is Open, Held, or Authorized (not In Transit, Shipped, Expired, or Cancelled).
